This is a card I made for my SU Demonstrators Sue & Sandee. They are a Mother Daughter team, & they just bought a new house which is officially their's today!
I Thank them for introducing me to stamping, I have been off work on disability, & this has helped keep my sanity in tact! well mostly!!!!
Her instructions are very clear & easy to follow - so Thanks to cyndiestamps for sharing!
I used the textile EF with vellum for the windows.
The plant pot is the ticket punch with the edge folded down to make a rim. I used the 1/4" sq. punch, outlined in black marker, & glued a piece of confetti cream behind. Then I used the marker to put in the house #. I used thin strips of dbl. sided tape down the side edges of the pot, & 2 dimensionals in the center. This made the pot round out a little.
I cut the grass & flower stems by hand (can't wait to get my SU paper snips). The flowers were made with punches & a small hole punch.
The welcome sign is made from the word window punch
I open one dorrknob brad so the tail sticks out towards the door opening, then this tucks behind the opposite doorknob to hold the door closed (that's not easy to explain!)
The little bee is a on a studio g $ stamp from Michaels. I coloured the wings with silver gel pen & white signo pen dots.
Hope they like it
