I stamped with versamark on the egg (don't press too hard ) and then embossed with white powder... then I dyed them. I also did where I embossed after dying. That worked better. The pink and purple dyes tend to color the white embossed powder. And it took awhile to actually melt the powder... be patient... and careful, they get really hot!

Did you use real eggs and blow the insides out? I had a friend tell me she found some porcelin(?) eggs that she was wanting to paint and stamp on. Alsl, how long did it take?
