Thanks for your kind words. "Thumping" is when you ink up your stamp in a light color of ink, then take the brush end of a darker color of marker and let it gently "thump" another layer of ink over the first. Does that make sense? I kind of hold the marker like I was playing the drums and let it "ratta tatta tatta" onto the stamp. You may have to huff on the stamp as the classic inks dry quickly. The thumping technique is a lot of fun!
