This is from my sister's wedding. Journaling was very difficult because the marriage ended before I got around to scrapping the photos. I still think it's important to scrap things like this. Here's what I wrote: "For three years, I reserved a place in my scrapbook for a layout of my sisterâs wedding. I was waiting to get my hands on more photos so I could paint a complete picture of that day. Unfortunately, while I waited, her marriage to Eddie Baul was falling apart. On the day of her third anniversary, Valerieâs divorce was finalized. But I still had these great pictures, and wasnât quite sure how to scrapbook them. I couldnât journal as if I didnât know the outcome, but I still wanted to commemorate her wedding day. I had never seen Valerie happier, and the whole family was there to celebrate her love to Eddie, and his to her. So when I heard the quote on the left from a character on a t.v. show, I knew it was perfect for this page. Although Eddie and Valerieâs marriage didnât last forever, it doesnât mean that their love wasnât true, or that their relationship wasnât worthwhile. I think Valerie has learned a lot about love and relationships, but most importantly, she has Zack, who will always be a reminder of love while it was in full bloom."
