Here is my card for today's Way to Use it Challenge - to use a window on your card - either a punched out shape or a stamp of a window.
This card is a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 square card. I love this smaller size card. I use a regular size envelope to mail it so that it doesn't cost more than a first class stamp.
I cut an oval using my nestabilities and framed it with a scalloped rim that I made by cutting a scalloped oval then cutting out a smaller plain oval inside of it.
I stamped my cute little potted eggs (Alias, Smith & Rowe) on a Papertrey White oval that I also embossed. I don't know if you can see it a speck - but I put a 3x3 panel of Appricot Appeal inside the card and mounted the stamped oval on it with dimensionals. To be sure it was lined up with the opening - I put it inside the oval on the front - then closed card and it placed it in just the right spot.
I stamped my sentiment (Savvystamps) right on the DP. I knotted the ribbons through the opening. I think it looks a little like tie backs on window curtains.
