This is a card I made to say thank you to my mom and friend Beth for having catalogue parties! I just signed up as an SU! demo and they are my first customers! This card is also for this week's color challenge- Opulent Pumpkin Celery.
I wanted to make something a little different and a fun project that would be easy for them to do themselves. The card is 3x3 in size. I do not have any envelopes to fit a card this size, so I made it into tie enclosure type of card. The bottom mat is certainly celery. The main bg panel is orchid opulence. I used the Scatter Sunshine jumbo wheel in orchid opulence ink on this layer. I used the slot punch to make an opening for the ribbon to pull through in order to tie the card shut. I tied a piece of 1/4" celery grosgrain ribbon all the way around the card and through the slot. I then adhered the sentiment panel with sticky strip, so the ribbon doesn't pull the panel up. The panel is matted with pumpkin pie cs. I stamped the sentiment from Much Appreciated in orchid opulence on the whisper white panel. I stamped the flower image from Baroque Motifs in pumpkin pie ink on certainly celery cs. I put an ice (purple) rhinestone brad through the center of the flower and adhered the flower over the corner of the sentiment panel with dimensionals.
Thanks for looking!
