A co-worker requested a card for a baby girl's christening. I knew I wanted to use this cool layout from Paper Craft's August/September 2007 Joy of Card Making Recipe #2. I dug through my stash of dp and found this pretty paper hiding in the bottom of the pile. It was perfect because it's both pretty and two-sided.
The card measures 9.25 inches by 4 inches. I used the lid of a large pot to trace the half circle and cut it out. I then added the two 1/8 inch pink strips and PRECIOUS rub-on. It still looked a little naked to me, so I used my Mat Pack and Regal Rose marker to add the dots. Next I layered up flowers, added the bling brad and adhered it to the card with a Mini Glue Dot.
The card is held shut with a magnetic snap. One part of the snap is hidden under one of the large hot pink petals. The other snap is sandwiched between the back pink panel and Whisper White base.
What do you think about the card? TFL - Regina
