I made this card for Emily's Color Challenge 154 - using Orchid Opulence, Certainly Celery, and Pumpkin Pie. I'm not a big fan of those colors together but there are some awesome cards in the gallery!! Go check them out. I don't actually have any CC cardstock, only a spot that came with my tag punch kit. So I improvised (as usual).
I love this little grasshopper from Papertrey Ink. He is the reason I bought that set - Green Thumb!! He is stamped twice, once on the card and again on white scrap, cut out and glued on with some dimensionals. Looks way cute in real life.
The purple cardstock is sprayed with water, crinkled, then ironed. It looks rough and crackled but you might not be able to tell in the photo.

Accessories: ribbon (Michael's), black marker (Zig), dimensionals (actually, I prefer to glue 3 pieces of cardstock together -- like that hight better than the dimensionals)

I absolutely love this card - I have this set and never use it, but I think you have inspired me to pull it out today - I agree there are some great cards in the gallery with this color challenge, but yours is by far my favorite!! I love the way you put the grasshopper on the stem - I have not seen this before, but I will be caseing you!! Thanks so much for sharing and for the inspiration!!
