I've seen a few mosaic looks and wanted to try to recreate it. I had some sticker paper that I never use, so I just took the backing off and adhered the scraps of paper for the mosaic background. After I adhered all the scraps, I covered the piece with black EP to fill in all the spaces. I then heat embossed.
With the background for the main image, I just glued little pieces of HH to the paper and then applied versamark to the entire image and then clear EP and heated. The EP makes it look glossy like tiles often are.
I used the baby wipe technique on the butterfly image and then cut out. It seemed a bit flat, so I used my versamark pen to outline the image and then clear EP/heat set. Popped up on dots.
This was a fun way to use up a few scraps and that sticker paper I didn't know what to do with! I may have to try it again sometime.
