Don't give up! Try lining up the side of your paper with the edge of the foot or one of the guide lines on the base of your machine. If it doesn't have these put a piece of tape on to help you keep going straight.
Best tip I ever got was to watch your fabric (or in this case paper) edge instead of the needle.
I forgot ot add that I really, really liek this card...pink and brown is one of my current favorites!

I love this card too but I am like you -Having an awful time with my little sewing machine-My stitches fall out and are always crooked .
I like how you incorporated the designer papers with this card .
GOOD LUCK with the sewing -I am gong to give it another try!!!
