See that brown bunny at the top with the blue vest? That's Buford. The other three bunnies are his friends Bob, Butch, and Bill. He doesn't want to have to pay child support for those eighteen button-bellied, carrot and lettuce eating babies at the bottom, so Buford is trying to convince his buddies that those little baby bunnies aren't his babies. He wants his buddies to be his witnesses in court. Poor Buford isn't too bright. He doesn't realize that there are DNA tests these days.
I blame the creation of this card on two things: (1) my cold medication and (2) Mothermark. She is the one who came up with the zany, wacky idea to use 18 buttons on a challenge card that a small group of us do each Monday. Furthermore, she's going to try and Bzzzzt my card saying that I didn't use *real* buttons cause I used button brads. Well, my friends Stampowl (thanks, Frances, for these cute button brads!) and Cindy_Haffner also used button brads, so it must be okay. Right? Also, I know how tricky Mothermark can be by making up new challenge rules at the last minute without informing the rest of us. Sure enough, she claims that we were to have pink and yellow buttons on our cards. Guess what? I'm covered!! Also, I figure I get extra bonus points cause I used the Bunny Butts stamped images and little baby bunnies stamp she sent me!
I colored all the bunnies with Copics and used liquid applique on the Bunny Butts' tails.
TFL!

I am not going to get myself involved in a discussion as to whether or not brad buttons or plain buttons make a difference... Bzzztttt.....
OMG! It's a conspiracy! Hootsie sent you the button brads....and to think Cindy H. kept that information from me. Thanks for being honest Bertie!
Hmmm......5 cards loaded, 3 cards got the buzzer due the button brad issue. Cammie must nota got her package from Hootsie yet......and was forced to use real buttons!
Buford is one dumb bunny. All the judge has to do is flip these babies over, take one look at the bunny butts and it will be plain to see that the butts match! Maybe Buford and the B-Hops better get those little bunny butts in gear and start planting a garden to feed all of those wascally wabbits!
As far as the card....it's really hard to be really hard on you cuz this is creative, precious, adorable and fun. So creative and look how good 18 bunnies fit there....darn it...should made the challenge 62 buttons!
