This is great! Do you have a secret to making the circle with the mounting tape or is it just small straight pieces cut to fill in behind the circle cut cardstock?

That was the most time consuming. I did use a ton of small squarish pieces of mounting tape. Now I can see where using fun foam to make the shaker part would be wise!

I have only made shaker cards with a "pouch" type template. It folds and then you place it on the card. I've read the instructions for this type of shaker, but I was wondering if you could see the tape from the sides? I love this card. I like the shaker openings with different shapes. My pattern only makes a square. I hope my question makes sense. Thanks!

Hi, fourqueensmom, You can see the mounting tape on the sides, but it is not that big of an issue, and believe me! I am pretty AR about stuff like that. Besides - people are too busy shaking to be looking at the sides. If you just can't stand the profile, though, you can always wrap a very narrow ribbon or cord around and tie a bow, or maybe even color the foam with markers. The fun foam would already be colored if you want to try that, too. The possibilities are endless!
