Birthday card and hand knit (by me) wool socks. This is a gift for our wonderful daughter-in-law Karla. I am really loving the new Spring Silhouettes DP in the S/S catty. Have you noticed all my other cards with this gorgeous paper?!?
I like how the paper looks like fabric when distressed the the cutter kit. Added flat back pearls from the Pretties Kit to make it prettier.
I am including this set in notimetostamp's #20 Pretties challenge. Enjoy and TFL

This truly is gorgeous, and I ordered that paper because of YOU!!! LOL!!! Waiting for it to come. This card is just lovely -- simplicity at its best -- showcasing a few pretty things!!! Love it!!! Great socks too -- lucky DIL!!! Love how those socks are presented!!! You are a very talented lady!!! Thanks so much for playing my challenge again!!!
Absolutely beautiful, Nancy! The pearls, stitching and taffeta ribbon are the perfect finishing touches! I love that portion of the paper with the swirls! She's gonna love those socks, too!

So pretty and feminine. The pastel pink and green go so nicely together. The pearls and organdy ribbon (rather than gros grain) add to that elegant look. The sock tube is a great idea. You are one of those multi-talented people I admire/envy.

This makes the most wonderful gift, Nancy! A beautiful card and I think the sock band is so clever! What a great idea! Karla will love and appreciate this. I know she'll put those socks to good use, too!
