I really had to let that one sink in and think it out. This one was done yesterday at around midnight, after my pesky neighbours woke me up and I couldn't go back to sleep. I thought if I was going to be tired today at work, I might as well get something out of it!
I used Mixed Bouquet, which is still one of my favorite flower sets. I had missed out on this set when it was featured in the minicatalogue, but got it before it retired from the big catalogue - thankfully.
I played around with masking: used two post-its and a sponge to make the stripes on the Going Grey cardstock, and punched a 1/4-in. circle in a post-it to add polka dots to my yellow cardstock. I also got out my good ol' Crosshatch for the base of the card.
I used Build-a-Brads with their pebbles but nothing underneath on both corners of my square, pierced some holes around the upper corner and finished the flower up with yellow Stickles, 'cos glitter can make anything look cute, right?
I'm pretty happy with how it turned, considering that, as it's been pointed out by many, YoYo Yellow is a hard color to love.
