I'm not sure how well this idea turned out, I was trying to make it look like the angel was causing the brighter light around it and that the rest of the card was kind of in shadow. I think it worked better in my head than it did IRL. I used sponge daubers to color in the panel, the whole front of this card is Very Vanilla cardstock. I think part of the reason it didn't work out like I hoped is because my So Saffron ink pad is extra juicy--that part came out darker than expected.
This is meant as an encouragement card for my brother who's been having a hard time lately. Does it look like a good encouragement card to you?

I was looking in the encouragement gallery to find some inspiration for card I want to send. It is beautiful. I understand what you wanted to do. And frankly, it turned out pretty good. Can't be easy thing to do. Great work.
