Here is a card that I made for this week's sketch challenge. As soon as I saw the sketch, this came to my mind, it just took a couple of days to become a reality! I really wanted to pull out my pomegranate satin ribbon, so all of the colors for this card are based around that. I like how rich the close to cocoa, purely pomegranate, and barely banana look together.
The bottom bg panel is barely banana and was stamped with an image from Stem Silhouttes in cocoa (stamped off on scrap paper first). I then ran the panel through my cuttlebug with the textile embossing folder. I matted this panel with pomegranate and cocoa cs. The next bg panel is Apple Cider dsp and is matted with pomegranate and cocoa. The horizontal strip has pomegranate and banana mat, and the satin ribbon is the top layer. The flower image is from fabulous flowers. It was stamped 3 times on banana cs in pomegranate ink, I then cut out the three layers and adhered them together with mini pop dots. I inserted a large aged copper brad in the center of the flower. The sentiment panel was super easy, it was made entirely with punches. The bottom layer is cocoa and I used the key tag punch. The next layer is banana and I used my Marvy extra jumbo circle punch. After that, is the pomegranate designer label punch layer. And the top layer is banana and I used the word window punch, on this layer I stamped the sentiment from MFT's Rain or Shine in pomegranate. I used the crop-a-dile to put in the two large aged copper brads above and below the sentiment.
Thanks for taking a look and I hope you like it!

What a fantastic job! I mentally tried to figure out all your pieces before I read your write-up. The base panel is very clever . . . love that stamp set and with using the cb over top is genius! Your flower is beautiful and the ribbon . . . to die for! MARVELOUS card!
