This card is for Sketch Challenge 160. I've been meaning to do a three-panel card anyway, so it was perfect! It's for my next-door neighbor who will be turning ten - rather hard to make a card for a ten-year-old boy, especially with all the flower stamps I have!
This was also VERY difficult to photograph, because the different elements of it show up so differently in different lights. I made the background by brayering three Hero Arts shadow backgrounds - a soft green, blue and wheat. The same colors were used to stamp the candles on the shimmery cream-colored paper. The Happy Birthday was stamped on shimmery black cardstock with Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I stippled blue Pearl Ex over it, and rubbed it off. The shiny gold trim on the bottom is a metallic tape. I think I may have left out a layer - oops!
Thanks for looking!
