There is a story behind this one. I was trying to get just a few more minutes of browsing in at Hobby Lobby. I handed this Stampabilities Bert and Ernie stamp to my 2 year old for her to play with because I figured it would buy me about 3.5 more minutes. (When I go I always have her and my 8 month old with me. Usually I only get about 15 minutes before the wheels start coming off of the whole operation anyway! Any of you who have toddlers working with me?) OK..so by the time we got to the counter she was totally bored with it but the stamp had really started to grow on me.
The wood just looked especially pretty and wow, just think of all the cute kids card's and pages a Bert and Ernie stamp would make!
So....Bert and Ernie came home with me and I finally got them our last night. I used colored pencils and baby oil for the coloring. I actually had to draw in the stripes on thier shirts because the stamp didn't have them. After I did that I decided it would be neat to used the strip shirt theme for a background. I found some scrap ribbon that had the right colors and used my crop-o-dile to attach these cool big silver eyelets that I get from TAC.
The sentiment is TAC's "Sweet Sayings".
If you actually took the time to read this thing then
wow! Thanks! Have a great day!
