Here is another card using the SC124 sketch design. While cutting my triangle pieces for this card, I forgot to 'pay attention' to the direction of the hearts in my pattern paper...and once I began to put the layers together, I realized the hearts would have been 'upside down' if I designed the card horizontally...so, I decided to flip the design to a vertical position...LOL...sometimes a mistake isn't so bad, and in the end, I loved how this 'switch' worked for my idea. Again, I'm using the MFT 'Be Mine' stamp set, making the 4 hearts into a floral design...I did 3 layers on this card, with each layer popped up with dimensionals. The bottom layer is embossed with dazzling diamonds and the top 2 layers are clear embossed. With a few exceptions, the Papers, velvet ribbon and stamp set used to make this card were included with my December Paper Pretties Monthly kit. Other items used in making this card are: a glittery large red brad (from Paper Pretties online store), the embroidery thread used for the sentiment tag, and the scalloped layers...which were made using SU Wild Wasabi CS and a sheet of Red from the Memory Box 6X6 Flirt Collection (from Ellen Hutson's online store). The 4 hearts are stamped onto Groovy Gava CS (SU) and cut out, before embossing. Thanks for looking.
