I had a bunch of really old, tiny black and white photos of my Great Grandparents, and for the longest time, didn't know what to do with them. I finally put them into this star book about a month ago. The pictures themselves are only 2.75" square, and that includes a .25" white border all the way around. The book itself, when closed, measures 4.25"L x 3"H x .75"W. My Grandparents originated from Denmark. I'm fourth generation 'Denmarkian' (as a family member calls us), that has lived in this same city. The words were computer generated. Hope you like it!!

What a wonderful idea for those precious photos of your Great Grandparents! Beautiful job. I really want to make one of these star books for my niece's high school graduation this year. I notice you have four layers of cardstock instead of the usual three that I've seen in other tutorials. Is there a particular reason for this? TFS. Linda

Pam,
This is beautiful. The addition of the framing in purple is just outstanding. What a beautiful way to honor your heritage!! Thanks for sharing. Maybe you could bring a display of your work to the Milwauke Gathering. I'm sure everyone would appreciate it.
