Cut out black X and ran it through the Xyron.
The watercolor paper was wrinkled up and distressed with chalk ink.
If you don't have the Karen Foster ARRR! sticker,
try printing out 'ARRR!' and put in it in a small antique gold label holder.
There are pirate sentiment stamps out there for the inside, too.
Two from Cat's Pajamas:
"Arr! Have a Swashbucklin' Day."
"Hope Yer Feelin' Shipshape Soon!"
The inside is printed on SU Vanilla and distressed with chalk ink

Yes, Michelle, they're Dress It Up Buttons. The set is called Pirates and is from the Fantasy series. You can see the rest of the buttons in the picture (map, sword, hat and dubloons). Most have shanks but it's easy to snip them off with large nail clippers. The pirate ship looks purple in the pic but it's really a charcoal grey.
