I made this card for the TLC151 pocket heart challenge and it is a birthday card for my baby who will be 8 (can't believe it!) on Thursday!
It was hard staying with just the 2 colours, but mixing others didn't look right either! I then had a brainstorm to use vellum as 1 layer of the lrg. flower & sponge rose red around the edges! This really helped with the look I was going for.
I used the cuttlebug on the heart, closed it with a crystal brad, punched a bunch of flowers using all SU punches except for the smallest flower which I believe is friskars. I used small circle punches for the centers and added crystal effects to them. Some of the flowers are popped up with dimensionals.
I used white EP for the Happy Birthday sentiment, and added sheer ribbon.
It still didn't look quite right so I added dazzling diamonds in some of the heart swirls and the centre of some flowers on the DP.
I know Olivia will love it, specially with the addition of the sparkle.
Thanks for looking
Laurie

Very pretty. I love the look on the flowers. Nicely done!
