So I have been seeing these masking projects and just had to finally try one.
I used an oval stencil for my mask and sponged the edges of it with mellow moss ink and then stamped the tree in the same color. Next over the top of that I stamped the tree again in always artichoke and finally tied on the ribbon and stamped the greeting.
I used glue dots to hold down the side with the ribbon since they are stronger then snail adhesive. I've also done several of these with glitter on the darker tree itself very pretty. (no picture) though because they all went out for chirstmas this last year.
