I'm pleased as punch with how this one turned out. Simple and streamlined is not my forte, yet something I enjoyed from others. With the supplies list, you could have thought it was going to turn into something heavily embellished, but it really didn't need to be.
In order to keep it simple, I included the bg stamp in by doing the Kissing technique on my flower stamp and used a sponge dauber to add a little bit of navy to the end of the petals. It adds interest and leave my background cs less busy (since the patterned papers already are).
I worked with SC138 and I think it worked well with this challenge. I also used the Bohemian papers from My Mind's Eye, which I *knew* I was going to use with the Fabulous Flowers set as soon as I could buy it.
My three cardstock colors are white, navy and Wild Wasabi, which I wouldn't have thought to combine before, but I think the neutrals bring out wasabi very nicely.
As for the bling, I added four rhinestones in each corner and used a sparkly gel pen to outline every single petal, which adds a nice but subtle sheen to the flower.
