This card is for the Dirty Dozen Fan Club Sketch Challenge (DSKETCH010 and for their Central Theme Challenge (CT010, which is 'Dedicated to the One I Love.' I had a bear of a time putting this card together! Nothing looked right and I tried and discarded dozens of options. (I'm sure you understand that process!)
The little birdy is from the retired SU! set called Cute Critters. He has Stickles on his wings, tail, and the heart in his beak. The scalloped circle also has Stickles dots on the scallops.
The mini heart brads were pewter, so I colored them with a red Slick Writer pen, let them dry, then put Stickles over the top.
The Barely Banana panel at the bottom has been stamped with Flannel Plaid and Linen in So Saffron ink. It has So Saffron sponged around edges. The circles behind the heart brads also have So Saffron sponged around the edges as does the main image. The Cool Caribbean strip behind the circles has been sponged with Cool Caribbean ink. The Cuttlebugged circle in the middle of the designer paper has also been sponged around the edges. The designer paper is from Scenic Route, and the edges were sponged with Cool Caribbean ink and Certainly Celery ink (don't know if I like that). Card base is Certainly Celery stamped with the Baroque Motifs medallion and Linen in Certainly Celery ink. Card measures a funky 6 x 4. Whew!

Oh, Shellie... this is so pretty! I love the colors you used, the dsp, the different textures, the lovely colored bird... and of course the Stickles (stardust is my absolute favorite!). And I completely sympathize about a card not coming together... I hate it when that happens!
