One of the attorneys I work with just told me that she and her husband are expecting their second child. I knew right away I wanted to make her a card with this stamp...more specifically to paper piece it. I love the way this card turned out, because it matches Maggie's style perfectly.
My card base is Chocolate Chip cs. I stamped the Decorative Dot background stamp on it with Chocolate Chip ink. The next panel is Nestled dp followed by a panel of Jolly dp. (Both are from the Figgy Pudding line by BasicGrey. Yep...still using my Christmas paper. LOL!) On the Jolly panel, I stamped the sentiment with Chocolate Chip Craft Ink and clear embossed it to make it pop.
I stamped the pregnant lady once onto Whisper White cs with Jet Black StazOn, again onto Glacier dp with Basic Black ink (for her dress), and once more onto Jolly dp with Basic Black ink (for her hat and purse). I carefully cut out the dress, hat and purse and then glued them to the pregnant lady on the white cs. I colored in her hair, shoes, skin, purse and hat band with various Stampin' Up! markers and then layered it on Chocolate Chip cs. It's adhered to the card with two Dimensionals.
That's it. I love mixing polka dots with stripes and hope you like my card. TFL - Regina

Wonderful paper piecing! Love the colour combination. Great job with the way the dots and stripes in the background pull out the designs in her outfit. TFS
