To create the watercolor wash, I add 2-3 drops from a re-inker to approximately 1/4 cup of water. I use a broad paint brush to wash the color across glossy white cardstock. Let it dry and then you can use it as a base for any number of different techniques or use it as-is. Using the blue re-inker creates a wonderful cloudy sky effect. You can also apply the wash on top of any other color. In this card, I put the Summer Sun down first and then applied the wash on top of it.
