I turned the stamp over, rubber facing up, and put in on my table. I held the water color pencil in my left hand and the aqua painter in my right and used it like a sodering gun; not too much water. Once the color was as dark or light as I wanted, I just "dropped" it onto the stamp. Almost like sweeping the color off the pencil using the aqua painter. When I got all the color I wanted I carefully and quickly turned the stamp over and stamped the cardstock. I didnt' get as much brown as I wanted on the tree trunk so I just used the watercolor pencil and went over it with the aqua painter. Is that clear as mud?
