I made this card at the request of a department manager at work, to give to our district manager since our district was being split. I wanted the card to be special, but simple. This was also the first card that I've ever sold -- mostly because I've never tried to sell any of my cards before. Now I want to make more cards like this, just because it turned out SO well.
The shirt pattern is from The Art of Origami by Gay Merrill Gross (1993). The tie pattern is from a Korean origami instruction booklet that came with a package of paper that I bought years ago at an Oriental gift shop.

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
