This is an All Night Media bird stamp that I masked around when stamping leaves using the fern stamp from Fantastic Foliage. I used my aquapainter and colored in the bird, and painted in the wood to simulate branches. I sponged brocade blue ink around the branch. I rouned the corners and matted the image. I added dots with my white ink pen and attached a ribbon bow. The sentiment was stamped and a ring was made in black with the 1 3/8 and 1 1/2 inch circle punch, then adhered to the sentiment. Then the whole sentiment was punched out with the 1 1/2 inch circle punch and added to the main image panel. I used the cuttlebug and Textile embossing folder for the cardbase, and swiped white craft ink across the raised areas to help the pattern stand out alittle more. The main image panel was glued to the cardbase.
TFL everyone... I appreciate it!

I just posted a card with exactly the same bird image. Mine says its a StampCraft image named Chirp. I bought it for $1 at Lens Mills. Great choice! I just thought it was funny that it was the first time I used the image and there your card came up. TFS

Wow! This is gorgeous! I adore that background and the color with the image. Your sponging looks gorgeous and the coloring on your image--perfecto! This is a beautiful card. The circle sentiment is really cute too. And then there's that great dotted black border. Fabulous!
