This is the idea I had in mind that caused the boot bouquet card to be created. I really wanted to have this idea come to life.
The little container is a cleaned out Lush container. (This one held Ocean Salt facial scrub, if you want a refreshing scrub that smells like margaritas, this is the one you want ) It reminded me of a garden pot.
I poked holes carefully through the lid, using a hammer and a paper piercer. Next, I stamp the hearts, cut them out, and taped them to various lengths of wire. I fed the wires through the tiny holes, folded them, and taped to the interior. After all the stems were in place, I cut out a piece of foam and taped that to the back of the lid, so that none of the wire pieces could come loose.
I wanted a growing out of dirt kind of look, so I got out some white glue and just pumped it into the lid. Because I was going for the look of soil, it was okay not to smooth out the glue. There's a LOT of glue in there. Then I doused the red and white glitter into the glue. Because of the tapering of the container, covering it with paper was not ideal. Instead, I tied it with some wide red grosgrain.
