Hi everyone!!
Here is my submission for today's WT challenge. I don't have a single scrap of anything leathery (Believe me...I checked and checked), so I decided to try Beate's tutorial on Faux Leather with Masking Tape and this is my result.
I am pretty happy with how it turned out, and it was way easier to do than I thought it would be. I have two problems with this card...1) I could not figure out where to put a sentiment, so I had to leave it off; and (2) I decided to stamp the horse after I made the original background, so the second try at this technique came out a bit of a different color.
Thanks so much, as always, for looking!!

I like the two toned effect, it brings the horse into the focal point. The card is just beautiful, and if it doesn't have a sentiment in the front, you have some freedom inside the card. Love how your faux leather turned out, and the awesome way you framed the focal panel with the circles and eyelets. Amazing card!

Some day I'm going to try this technique...maybe when all my leather paper is gone...lol!
It's a great looking card and one of my favorite layouts too with the wide border, thanks for sharing!
