I was browsing through SophieLaFontaine's gallery ( http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=105620 ) yesterday and enjoying her many watercolor cards, when I decided I would try one myself. I picked up some of the 140-lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper she uses and gave it a go. I am fairly happy with the results, though I cheated and used ribbon as a border.
I can't figure out how to use distress pads to get a subtle look; I have a Ranger Tea distress pad, but it looks too dark when I rub it on my paper. I wound up using a couple of lighter Colorsnap pigment pads to get a distressed look.
This card is just for fun - thanks for looking!

I am SO honoured!!! I sat here speechless for a moment before I could even type anything! *grin* Love this topiary! I have a weakness for topiaries!
------------------------------ Thank you all so much for all the cards for SCS member Ladybug91743 Marie-alice. She is done with chemo and surgery. She is done with radiation treatments too, and is now just focused on recovering. She loves the cards!!
