this is for a challenge among a group of friends to use kraft colored cs, and chalks. all panels were created using wild wasabi ink on kraft cs. i didn't have any wasabi cs, so i created cs for the border panels by applying ink directly to the paper. the panel directly behind the tulip is wasabi inked linen on kraft. the stem and leaves were stamped twice and applied on top of each other to give it more depth.
the tulip was stamped in wild wasabi, then colored with chalks. i used a water pen filled with future floor wax to paint on two coats. this gave the flower a slight sheen and also keeps the chalks from rubbing off.
thanks for looking!
