Yeah!!! I finally got to make another card, I have had major withdrawal! I have missed out on challenges for the past couple of weeks, so I decided to combine a few- SC156, WT147 (ways to use flowers), and LSC149 (no white or vanilla cardstock). I looked through my card box and saw that I don't have many Get Well cards, so that is what I decided to make.
I got some blue bayou dp and the Fabulous Flowers set for Christmas, so I have been dying to use them. I really wanted to the flower to pop against the bayou, so I used ruby red ink and stamped it on river rock cs. I also used ruby red cs for the matting of the base panel and the circle panel. On the blue bayou base panel, I stamped the Linen bg in blue bayou ink and the sentiment from MFT in ruby red. I used my Fiskar's circle cutter to cut out the circle panels. I stamped the flower 3 times on river rock and then cut out the layers. I then applied icecicle Stickles to the petals around the edges of each layer. I put a rhinestone brad, from K & Co., in the center of the flower. The flower is attached and layered with mini pop dots.
It is so great to be back!!! Thanks so much for looking and I hope you like it!

WOW what a beautiful card! I received this set from a friend and have only made 1 card with it . . . not real sure how to use that 'big' flower creatively . . . but with your inspiration I'll try it again. Love the colors you chose and the way you layered this! GREAT job! BTW . . . Welcome back!
