When looking at the image from the latest Pottery Barn catalog for this week's Inspiration Challenge ( http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...0&d=1199509182 ), most people probably just see an attractive sideboard or buffet table with some decorative items on it. However, when I look at a Pottery Barn catalog, I envision the hundreds of dollars most of the upscale things therein will cost; I see these dollars being wracked up on my credit card, thus creating a *cage of debt.* My little birdie has gotten free of the cage and is contemplating how enjoyable life can be without the crushing financial burden wrought by high-end lifestyle shopping.
Or... maybe I just felt like pulling out this set that I bought used last year from my demo. Yeah, that's probably it. ;-)

Hmm, that cage of debt is a greater reminder as we consider how much we spend on our stamping goodies.... as the New Year Dawn's I need to keep that more forefront in my mind!! On the other hand, it is a gorgoues image, well worth the money, and I love your paisley dp!! Gorgeous! The orange ribbon is the perfect accent. In fact, we do just * need * a lot of little bits a pieces to make the perfect card, which you have done! :)

I love your creative writing as much as i love your card! Really interesting perspective, I do agree about the $$$ and your cage of debt! But i will look for a similiar table in my LTS. (local thrift shop) Your card is so pretty, great DP too.
