Those pictures were taken at the last social club party my colleagues and I attended before our company got sold to another company.
The colors of the pictures were a pretty good match to the new SU papers, so I thought I'd make a dent in my new paper pack (not that I *needed* new papers, but no matter how much I have I still want more! It's a disease, really...)
Anyway, the title was done by overlapping my Jumbo Outline Alphabet letters cut out of patterned paper on oval punch outs.
I'm also pretty pleased with how the flowers turned out: I used daubers to apply River Rock on the big flower and then Mellow Moss on the tip of the petals, then Pretty in Pink ink on the second flower, and Ruby Red ink on the third flower. I then stamped some polka dots in Always Artichoke. Looks pretty neat!
To add my journaling to the page, I stamped the long flower from the Embrace Life set many times and wrote my text on the stems. Pretty neat, huh?
Also, I created a border on my cardstock pages by rolling the Vine wheel in Versamark and embossing with clear powder and then I ripped some scratch paper and used my brayer to create a faux tearing look at the bottom.
The left page was designed according to a scrapbook sketch that was posted a couple weeks ago. It didn't have a matching right page and I needed a 2-page layout to fit all of my pictures so I designed a second page to fit.
