For a dear friend, for this week's Color Combo challenge (CC147), and just because I love the cupcake in this set.
This color combo (Certainly Celery, Taken with Teal, Real Red) is not something I would have thought of putting together, but I think it's great combo for a Birthday card - thanks again Emily!
I also had another chance to use my new SU! Rub Ons. The first time I used Rub-Ons many years ago was on Ribbon and so excited SU! has them now cause they really do look amazing on ribbon. At each end of the sentiment is a Build-a-Brad with a rub-on in the middle.
The sentiment is stamped with VersaMark and embossed with Red ep.
I stamped the cupcake with Certainly Celery onto Certainly Celery PDSP, cut it out, and then used Liquid Pearls for the frosting.
On the edge of each layer I used a black marker for the dashes.
Last card for 2007...Happy New Year and TFL!
