A tip that I saw on here, can't remember who posted it, was to use wax paper. Wrap the wax paper tight around the candle over the tissue paper, then melt. I tried that and it worked great the 1st time, but the 2nd time wasn't as good. Another thing I do - when you notice the candle starting to melt, stop and roll the candle on a smooth surface to get the shape back. That worked well for doing a large area. Hope this helps.
