I kept the basic layout but changed it to an anniversary card instead. I also chose to incorporate real stitching instead of faux stitching...my first try in fact. After having seen so many of Julia S's cards I've finally worked up the nerve to break out the sewing machine. I also water-coloured the main image, distressed my edges and stayed in a similar colour family as Crissy with the exception of substituting the blue for basic grey.
This was a lot of fun. Thanks for the inspiration Crissy!

This is indeed the perfect anniversary card. It incorporates the feminine in the pinks and patterned dp, and the masculine with the dark grey. You colored this beautifully! Thank you for honoring me by playing along and for saying such nice things about my coloring. Your card is gorgeous!
