I made this cute card for my Pap for Christmas. I tried to keep it more masculine without a lot of fluff, but the girly side of me had to add some ribbon and some stickles. I had stamped Frosty on glossy white and tried the polished stone technique with silver. It was a little dark, so I cut him down to place him on my pretty navy blue scalloped oval from Mlehmer (thank you, thank you--I still have quite a few of these to use up). I layered a smaller oval (using my coluzzle) of tempting turquoise on the back and then punched 1/16" holes in the scallops of the navy one so you could see the lighter shade of blue through it. Some layering of the turq. and navy cs, a few dots of Stickles to add some bling to the scallops, a piece of turqoise ribbon, some foam under Frosty to pop him up (after I colored him a bit with my SU markers), and all of this layered on a pretty sheet of dp that I won from the Christmas Card Challenge back in January 2007 (thanks again, Alliesmem)!
Sure hope Pap likes him! Kelly

That is cool! I'm glad you added the ribbon.
