This is a "get-well" card I made for my young cousin Danielle (high-school age) who just found out she has thyroid cancer. She is having surgery this week. I wanted to make her a very special card to let her know I am thinking about her and praying for her. I used the Curvy Verse, "If wishes could make you well... you'd be better already!" inside. The angel stamp is from the Anytime Greetings set, which is not listed in the collection of A-B sets in the SCS Gallery.

The colours are so gentle and cheerful. I love the flowers! Best wishes for your cousin Danielle.
------------------------------ Thank you all so much for all the cards for SCS member Ladybug91743 Marie-alice. She is done with chemo and surgery. She is done with radiation treatments too, and is now just focused on recovering. She loves the cards!!

WOW, thisi s awesome and will definitely make her feel better. I do not know what is going on but I am hearing about a lot of young adults with this problem. I still think it has to do with the chemicals being feed to the animals and vegies that we eat. Makes me want to turn into a vegitarian and grow my own for me and my family.

Just wanted to post an update, in case anyone is wondering how Danielle is doing. She came through the surgery fine, had treatments afterwards (not sure if they were chemo or radiation), and seems to be doing just fine now (no sign of any cancer)! She is attending a local college, so she can live at home and be close to her doctors. (She has some other ongoing medical issues.) But she is a very cheerful and upbeat person who takes everything in stride and nothing seems to bother her too much! Thank you to everyone who prayed for her. The Lord definitely answered our prayers! :-)
