This is my 2007 Holiday card. I made 35 of these, and I'm delighted that they are all in the mail now.
Though this card is quite simple, it has layers of meaning. First and foremost, it is a Christmas card with the stocking. Secondly, it is a card to celebrate the Buckeye's trip to the BCS game. And lastly, it celebrates my miniature dachshund puppy, Sloopy.
The image is from Cowtown Stamps. I drew the sweaters on the dachshunds. Hang on Sloopy sentiment is stamped with Karen Foster SnapStamps. Image is stamped with Marvy Dye ink on Sterling Matte paper and colored with Copic markers.
I used Sketch Challenge #125 for the layout due to the l-o-o-o-o-o-ngness of the image. The football paper is texturized and it is from Marco's paper. The shiny silver paper is from Hollo's.
Fun card. Buckeye fans will totally get it.
