I'm having a bit of success with this, but it's not as easy as Michelle makes it look. Can't figure out what I'm not doing right, but the image on the card is better than the envelope. Any suggestions for blending the layers would be appreciated.

To blend, I just keep going over it with the brayer a zillion times! I bet the envelope soaked up the ink and didn't have as much "play" as the cardstock surface. I really like the tall card with the single tree. Great job!

Gee, I thought the envelope looked really good! I think you're too hard on yourself. I liked the way the evelope had the dark band just about the ground, and I liked the intense color.

This is really beautiful. I like the tall card layout. I'm wondering how you adhered the mulberry paper to the underlying CS? It looks so crisp and clean. Nice job! TFS, and Happy Holidays!

Your card is lovely. I agree..this is harder than it looks. For me the challenge was in getting the proportion of white to the rest of the card right. Too much white looks jarring. I found a light touch of the brayer works better than pressing too hard. You can always add...can't take away!
