A Break Through...

Photo Details
Poster: Mothermark

This is my card for today's sketch challenge. The tags hang off the card so they probably look crooked.

This is my story!

1. Notice the name of my card? I am happy to announce today that I made a break through towards curbing my obsessive behavior.
2. This morning I actually threw away the extra letters cut from my cuttlebug dies. Up until today, everytime I used my cuttlebug alphabet dies, I would save all of the little extra letters it cuts as a result of the way several letters are on one die. I have a whole box full of excess letters, all in different colors.
3. Today was my break through. I came to realize that even if I did need to spell something in the future on a card, what are the chances of me finding the right letter in the right color in a box of thousands of minature letters and numbers?
4. I threw all of them in the box away today, including the new ones from this card. I feel better!

You can do it too!

Very creative. Love how you did the 5 circles. Perfect and the cuttlebug piece with the black accent looks classy.

Great idea with the letters. Now what can I spell with 3 or 5 letters?
BTW, I am too cheap (ok, frugal) to make letters and throw them away. I just cut a little piece of cs and make the one or two letters I need!

This is a darling card.

This is wonderful!!!! Nothing like fresh cut letters!!!! I smell the new. I love the way you actually used the circles to spell something...and they look like hanging ornaments to boot!!!!!

Awesome cb and gllitter effects, too!!!!

put them back in the garbage now .... no way do you need them .... if you have the dies you can cut more anytime you want ... any color you want!!!!!!!!!
Love the clever why you turned the circles into baubles and added the merry to each one

Cindy, very cute card. I love it & into my favs it goes. I'm w/ you on the break through! I went through my scrap drawer one day & into the garbage went every little piece I'd save - I haven't been sorry yet!! Confession, I did keep the bigger pieces.
