Ok, here is my second attempt at todays challenge. OMG this card, I created this layout, and I know it can be a great card, but boy, did I have one heck of a time on this card!
I was ok when I started, I had my basic grey, I cut it as if I was going to have a regular layer, then found the center point, and went point to point and made my triangle. No biggie. Then used the soft sky dp and cut it just a tad smaller. still no biggie.
Then, OMG what a pain, I tried to emboss. GEEZE! my first attempt was silver on the grey, you couldn't really see it, but dingy here mounted it anyway. So for the smaller ones I said ok, lets do them in white, they will show better. Well silver you can't see, so I tried copper with silver ep. That worked for the most part, but then I guess I didn't heat it all the way, some of the ep came off, so you could see bronze instead of silver. OMG!
Well these were mounted too, I said to myself I needed blue. But I didn't think I had any. So I checked in my cheapy ink pile, sure enough those lovely $1.00 inks were compatable for embossing! Yeah! So I found royal blue, stamped it then used clear ep.
The center one isn't the best but I had issues there too, when I pealed the grey square off, it left tears in the dp, so I just left it normal size and cut the snowflake to match the others.
I know, longwinded, but I had to get it off my chest! TFL
