This card is for my upline and her husband who treated us to a wonderful dinner and stamping party!
The center background is embossed with white embossing powder on white shimmery paper, then brayered with Rose Red. Both it and the matting are cut with Nestabilities, and the embossed border is also done with Nestabilities. The centers of the flowers in the 'thank you', after being stamped with the letters, were stamped using the solid circle from the Papertrey Ink set Paper Tray with Versamark and embossed with Deep Impressions embossing powder.
The border on the 'thank you' was a 'happy accident!' I used my Fiskars rotary scallop blade to cut the thank you. I wanted to mimic the scallops on the flowers. However, the blade didn't cut quite all of the way through - the tops of the scallops were still connected. So, I sponged Rose Red on the back of the cardstock, and folded the top under, exposing the backside. I'm sure that doesn't make sense, but it's the best explanation I can give! I love the way it turned out, but I'm not sure I could do it again!
