Don't you just love the feeling you get when you create something so wonderful that you just feel giggly when you're done? Well, I was smiling from ear-to-ear when this was done. LOL! I love how this bag turned out. I almost don't want to give it away. (In fact, I didn't give it away...I sold it! Hee hee hee!)
I started out with the Cool Caribbean cs, stamped the Sanded background stamp in the center of cs with VersaMark and added the strips of Glacier cs on the top and bottom. I knew I wanted a band of silver microbeads somewhere on the bag, so I applied 1/2" band of Sticky Tape on the bottom seam and poured on those microbeads. (Those, by the way, are SO fun to play with!) To hide the seam on the top, I ran some 1/4" Sticky Tape and adhered that oh, so pretty band of baby blue velvet ribbon.
The reindeer was done with BasicGrey's Holiday Chipboard and coordinating sticker. Once stuck together, I sanded the edges, sealed it with a coat of Mod Podge, peeled off the backing and adhered it to the cs.
For the sentiment on the bottom, I used more chipboard. I traced it onto Cool Caribbean cs, cut it out, stamped it with the VersaMark and Sanded background stamp, applied to Believe rub-on and Twinkle sticker. I applied a layer of Mod Podge over it to seal it and then glued it to the chipboard. It was applied with a Dimensional.
Finally, I wanted a really cool tag, so I used my Coluzze to cut a circle from Silent Night dp and layered it on a circle of Cool Caribbean cs. I stamped the sentiment on with Chocolate Chip Craft Ink, clear embossed it, added a white eyelet and threaded it on the ribbon. Isn't that ribbon just perfect?! I love how it has the opposite colored polka dots as the dp.
Phew! I think I about covered it. So, what do you think?
