These coaster boxes are a wonderful option for us to use when giving small gifts for Christmas. They're 4x4x4, so they'll hold a couple of candles or socks or perfume or jewelry or whatever. My co-worker, who asked me to make it for her, is going to give it as a hostess gift with a small poinsettia in it. (She'll protect the coasters from the moisture by added a tiny little dish under the plant.) Here's the link to Taylor's tutorial. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/re...tergiftbox.php She does a great job with the step-by-step process, so what are you waiting for?
I covered the coasters with this cute Frosty dp by BasicGrey. The C chipboard is covered with the reverse side of the dp (Maraschino Cherry). I stamped CHRISTMAS with my Snap Stamps repeatedly across the front with Night of Navy ink and added a layer of Mod Podge to seal it. The chipboard is layered on Wintermint dp and adhered to the box. I thought it still need a little something, so I dug through my Prima collection and found these two flowers and gem brad and stuck them on with a Mini-Glue Dot.
It's such a fun little box. I hope your enjoy looking at it. TFL - Regina
