The vest actually opens in the center. It is an 81/2 x11 cut in half to give you 5 1/2 x 81/2. Instead of folding it in half, you fold it to the center from both sides. The card is still the same 41/4 x 51/2 so it fits in a standard small envelop.

I used the fishing vest pattern on Stampin' Ups website. If you are a demonstrator, go in under Business Tools in the pattern Library. If you have trouble email me. I just cut off the bottom at an angle on the sides and in the center top layer only. I used a contrasting color inside to give the card a more realistic affect. The shirt is just a 4x51/4 sheet stamped with plaid and inserted to the inside. [email protected]
